I'll be working Friday Til 5:30. By the time I got to where you would be it'll be dark, otherwise I'd come join you.

 

Try Rock Creek Lake or go down pass the hatchery and fish the creek.it's on FS-69

 

I've fished rock creek lake a good bit. From land and from my kayak.

Haha...Gotta go to work so I can get a few more bucks before I head to Arkansas next weekend.

I've really never done a lot of good in Rock Creek Lake. Caught a few brookies there, but it seems to be kinda hit or miss. Never been at this time of year, though. Might want to double check and make sure you can fish it during this time. I'm not sure if it's considered seasonal or not. Never really thought about it til now...hmmmm....

 

I was planning on it but my roommates burned it all before I could say anything.

 

If I remember correctly it's year around. We talked to a ranger at the hatchery about it awhile back.

 

It is. I just checked it out. Like I said, I never go up there this time of year, so I had no idea

Year-round: Conasauga River watershed (except Jacks River watershed); Ellijay River watershed; Fightingtown Creek watershed; Mountaintown Creek watershed; Noontootla Creek watershed; Rock Creek watershed; Rock Creek Lake; Toccoa River downstream from Lake Blue Ridge to the Georgia-Tennessee state line and upstream from the mouth of Stanley Creek (does not include tributaries unless listed).

 

Sweet guess that seals the deal I'm going fishing. Maybe I'll mess up and catch a few

This is what i'll be bringing personally

1)coleman cooking stove(just snagged one this morning for 35$)
2)Firewood
3)one frying pan
4)MRE(In case food is scarce.. )
5) some granola bars and some type of food to throw on the grill, i went home and forget meh fishing pole..

 

Work week over. Now time to get ready for tomorrow.

 

Thats what I'm doing just gotta buy food/wood and take a test tomorrow
