Demello sliders saved my arrs!!!!!!!!

I was in moab last week end and I was on the last part of Hells Ravenge and my friend takes me threw this 100 yared gontlet. I had put my sliders on a cuple of days before going down "thank goodnes" . They saves my bacan quite a few times. I was very surprised it did so well with no locker (LSD)and 20s!! I was worried about my rims but they did allot better than expected. I aired down to 20psi my side walls are pretty stiff but they griped like a mother, only one scratch on one rim. My rear bumper is a different story, It suffered some trail carnage not to bad though. My lift did great things flexed really good and added the ground clearance I needed. The trick with the LSD is to power brake it when only one wheel is spinning and it will basically lock it up ,sort-of. There was a big FJ Cruiser group we met up with their my brother was one of them,he has a blue FJ with 3"lift locked and loaded. When we started out the first day every on was asking do you have a locker or Atrack and I said nope and they said well we have a toe strape It turns out my truck with LSD and 20s goes as many or more places than a locked FJ .

 

i decided to do both, but the bumper first since im building my own and sliders can be bought for cheaper if im gonna have to buy somthin. hope i have enough time to build some after i finish my bumper

 

oh yeah, nice wheelin lightemup! i wanna try and get out to moab sometime in the near future, just cant tell if im gonna get the time over the summer. how hot does it get out there in the summer?

My budy that lives there says in the summer he goes wheeln at night because its to hot to go in the day like 100/115F. I plan on geting the allpro bumper soon. I wish I had the skills to make my own, good luck with the fab work sounds like fun!!

Thats awesome! but there is no way i would attack that in my new truck. thats someting i would do in an old beat up trail rig. if i saw that in my truck i wouldn't be able to get in in reverse fast enough! good job, love the truck

 

do you have the dirt logics on your fabtech? Which kit did you get?
