Just moved back to the Reston area from Phoenix, Arizona. I might stop by and introduce myself. I am itching to get off the road somewhere in the mountains west of Winchester.

It was cool meeting everyone last night! Now I really have an urge to start buying a bunch of stuff... Haha

Frogsauce, could you possibly send me a link for that camera you have? I'm thinking it may not be a bad thing to have after almost getting hit three times this morning..

Yeah Lespaulkid01, I am rocking a front mounted camera as well. A great piece of mind factor!! I haven't recorded anything good yet, but if something happens, I know it's on disc!!

    Also,

Anyone on here with Alabama-Army license plates? I followed a nice lifted double cab with big tires this morning on I-66W and 28-North. I am the one in the blue Tacoma that let you in. You had black badges. White/silver color I believe? I forgot already...hahaha. Nice rig regardless!

yea, it sounds like a good idea. I like the fact that the one he has is hardwired into the ignition.. and it automatically deletes the older files to continually make room in the memory (or something like that) so you can just slap it up and leave it alone until you really need it. Which one do you have? I'm not trying to spend a ton on one. lol

After last night seeing everyone's trucks i'm now looking at a camera, scangauge ii, and (potentially) a rear plate bumper sometime soon and probably getting new tires this spring/summer. Damn TW meets.. there goes my already non-existent bank account.

I went with the "Blackvue" brand, but it is more on the pricey side. I had a gift card I had to burn, so I splurged on that one...but the one Frog has is good as well. He is the person that actually made me get one because of the TW meets!! Hahaha. His type is all you really need. I have mine just into the cigarette lighter and that is good enough for me. It turns on with the ignition and turns off when i pull the key, because the cigarette lighter is only charged when the car is on.

Yea I guess that would work too. I just like the hardwiring because I think it'll look cleaner. I've already got too many wires running around with my phone charger, gps, and ipod all over the place. lol I plan on mounting a scangauge above the mirror and running the wires through the headliner and down the A pillar, so I'd like to do the same thing with a camera.

Yup, that works! I ran the wire for the camera in the headliner and down the pillar as well, and it looks clean except the part it comes out of the glove compartment (left side) area and into the lighter. So about 4 inches of wire is exposed. Not too bad. Getting access behind the pillar cover is soooo easy!! Not like my other cars.......hahahaha.

It was great meeting all of you guys last night. Glad to see some new faces.

I was thinking of ordering some of the Wet Okole material to cover my armrests with. The sheet comes with enough to do 4 sets of doors, anyone interested in splitting sheet?

Great meet last night! Good to see all you guys again and meet some new faces. Frog and I went back after everyone left and ended up staying until 11 or so. Needless to say, work was less than enjoyable today.:drunk:

Here's a pic I snapped last night in the parking lot. Not too good but oh well

Are you getting the neoprene type material? If so how much would it cost? a lot of days my elbow starts to hurt because there is no padding on the door arm rest. lol

Just one more beer! haha :woot: I forgot to snap a pic.
