    Thanks!
Same as you. 265/75-16 at 1.75" lift. This size hit my mud flaps prior to my lift, but after it was installed it didn't hit anymore. May also be because my wheels have 0 offset.

Go for it, definitely not too bad. Only down side is the down time waiting for it to cure.

I too was wanting a satoshi style. I had made one for my 2011 and I loved it. I have free time at the moment, so I may buy a 2012-14 grill and attempt to build a satoshi style and see what happens.

Moondeath - Thanks for the reply, I am running Dick Cepek DC-2 at 8" wide. So I must have more offset? Oh mine is also a 2013 but an AC. I'm going to have me one of those grills when this damn cold weather gets over.

If I looked at the right wheels it looks like you have -12 offset, which would give you a wide stance look.( tire is further from the frame) Factory wheels are somewhere around +30mm. Are you hitting at full lock with the corner of the tire on the nub of the mud flap?

Looks good! Definitely looks like a lot of work. It so worth it when it's done though!

I don't know. when I put the new wheels on, it was before I lifted it.I had to cut maybe 1" of plastic off the inner rear part of the front fender. After the lift i did not try to put the flaps on, I just held them up there and it looked like they would rub, not much clearance. I will try again when the weather gets in the forty degree range. Thanks (cool grill, I want one)

This looks great. I was just wondering if there was a mesh to go inside the stock grille. Definitely just made my to do list. I will post with questions if that's ok? Where did you get the mesh? Did it come black already? Thanks for the write up too.

    Thanks

I'm not exactly sure if I know what you mean with your first question, but some options for a mesh used with the factory grill is: the DIY grill that is written up on this thread, a grill from grill craft, or get or make a satoshi grill. These are all used on a stock grill, but they all have to be cut or custom made in some way.

The mesh is from Customcargrills.com. You can check it out under the link I have posted to their site in the write up.

Yes, it came painted. They have a few different options.

Thanks again. The first part wasn't a question but a statement that I was just wondering (to myself) if there was a mesh mod that goes in the grill without a satoshi. Sometimes typing does not convey tone. The website you referenced answered my real question. Again, thanks for posting.

This actually got me thinking - gonna head to the local salvage yard when the weather is nice and see if I can find an old-skool emblem like this for my grill build.

I reached out to Matt at custom car grills before, he said they come prevent should you choose. Here is the installation video

As geekhouse said, you can get them prebent. It is just cut and glue, but it is somewhat involved. Not hard, just tedious. I think I have the link in the write up to the grills, which also has the video.
