Was the steering wheel control harness a plug and play for you? My 05' is now lacking steering control, because it looks like the harness/plug is different

Everything was plug n play, I only needed the harness for bluetooth. The volume works like normal and so does the scan up and down

Stupid question here: do all 2013-14 stereos have Bluetooth? Or is that just the Entune or Nav units? Also Andrew, do you have the part number from this radio? It's the only way I can be sure of what to look for when buying one of these soon.

Pretty sure they all have bluetooth, you don't need a part number for the head unit, just read through the thread. There has been an abundance of 2013 bluetooth head units being posted for $200 or less lately, i will be re-selling mine when i buy a 2014 with entune and other options.

Easiest way to know if you have JBL or not is to look at headunit faceplate to see if it has the square JBL logo.

Hello everyone - new member and first time Tacoma owner.

LOVE the support here at TacomaWorld, so thank you to all the great posts.

My question: What harness/cable is used to connect the USB/Aux to the 04080 touch screen and if the original radio was JBL and the touchscreen is not JBL, what complications or modifications must I complete to make this work.

    Thank you.

I have a 2012 base will the 2013 touch radio fit with just the antenna adapter and Bluetooth harness?

Anyone know if this will work with an 09 Xrunner? Does it make a difference since the Xrunners have the bass module in the back? Thanks for the help. Just joined.

So, I think I am gonna try this install on my 05 with a 2013 touchscreen bluetooth non JBL. Do I need to do any trimming to make it fit correctly or will it fit flush?

I paid around $85 shipped for the three cables used by the OP in this thread. The head unit varies depending on what you can find. I scored mine in an auction for 200. I would have looked for one of the navigation units but they seem to be going for up above 500.

Like stated above, $200ish is the going rate for reg touchscreen with no nav

For bluetooth to connect you'll need the microphone plugged into the harness as well
