I am leaning that way Charlie. Priced one out on Newegg yesterday and the cost was right around 1K, but it was fully loaded. Was quite the reading experience to put together components that fit. Was surprised to find out that the older Intel processor, Ivy Bridge, is recommended over the newer Generation 4 processors.

A great one is slim cleaner but be careful with it . just set it in dum ass mode or it will strip op files if you set it on Avn. mode. Not for the every day user..

    Ken:
We had a nice trip to the kitchen yesterday. The 3 young men did a great job.

This PC is pissing me off. I ran a memory rest and it cycled through 5times with no errors. I removed an add on graphics card and went back to the one that came with the PC. I sill have "Not Responding" across all applications when I open them up. Then the Not Responding will go away and work for a few minutes.

I need to read up on how to place my present HD disc in a new PC then transfer the data and applications over to a new HD in the new computer. I am leaning towards having the windows operating system, MS Office, and all other applications on a solid state drive then place all the data on a separate HD.

    Configuration so far on Newegg

I still need to pick up Win 7 Pro and I know I can do better than $134 on Newegg. I also want to secure a copy of Office 2010 Pro through a Teachers discount. I have a new unopened Seagate 2TB HD that I can install in the machine.

Hi all, haven't been on here in a long while. Was thinking about those of you in the snow & ice this morning. Driving to work, I had the stupid idea of turning on the heater in my truck. Rolled up my window and thought "WTF am I thinking?" Must be getting soft in my old age not being able to handle 59*. I've never ever turned on my heater, you think that it would explaode or something?
