Well, first off there's weight distribution for some girls compared to boys. The other reason is if someone is new at shooting, they tend to lock up their legs and use the lean back method to counteract the shift in balance by holding up a firearm.

With newbs, I usually do the push test with an airsoft gun or a training gun. I'll have them hold the gun and push them when they lean back. It shows them how bad their balance is and if the recoil isn't something that they're expecting, they could fall over and hurt someone else or themselves. That usually gives them some incentive to learn proper form.

I live off Stony Point, so I'm all over Sonoma County in my truck on the weekends. During the week I'm down in Marin living at work 70+ hours. We usually take the truck in bad weather and the ol lady's car most of the time. If I'm not at work, I'm usually at the breweries or wineries. This weekend and next weekend we are Barrel Tasting :)

Very true, the push test is very good, what amazes me is that my girl has great form while using BB/Pellet, but not with the big guns bench shooting. The Kriss is easy for her since its dead on no recoil, and shes actually ok with handguns usually, but the rifles give her issues, other than the MP15-22 AR trainer.

She shot the AK pistol for one mag, and that was enough until we can get her to a much more private shooting area, and she does some upper body workout. The anticipation of the recoil and overcorrection on second shot is wayyyy off :)

It's good to have good toys, but I eat a LOT of shit for a living. The stress levels should have killed me by now.

I've got a Goodyear MT/R Kevlar 265/75R16 on the factory spare rim with about 200 miles on it that I'm going to be unloading soon (like next week.) Great choice if you're carrying your spare under the bed.

Now that I've got a tire gate I'm getting a 5th identical wheel/tire that I can rotate in with the other four ever time I rotate tires.
