    she's decided that she's tired of mailing in checks to pay bills so she wanted to do payments online. instead of doing the logical thing and going to the bank's site to set up the billing/payments there she spent the entire day going to each of the utility company's, credit cards, etc. websites and setting up online accounts there to pay the bills through each site individually. so now she's freaking out because she has like 12 new username/password combos to remember and she says she doesn't understand how people do this and why they claim its so much easier than mailing in a payment :facepalm:
    oh, and a few of them she couldn't figure out how to pay the bill through a bank account so she's having the bills paid through credit cards and her debit card :facepalm:

    go to bank website, set up payments through bank website. have one site to visit and one username/password to remember :rolleyes:

    I paid my bills by credit card for several years... then would pay it off when it's bill was due. Didn't want to allow the companies access to my checking account. I have since gone to the bill pay through my credit union. The bill pay is so much easier.

    So when are you going to help her? :D

    probably. we both bank through well fargo and i have all of my bills set up on my account so i know how it works.

    she always manages to turn the simplest task into a total mess.
    a couple of years ago she had to set up a paypal account and somehow managed to sign up for a paypal branded credit card instead. i still don't know how she pulled that one off since the first thing you see when going to the paypal site is a prompt to create an online account. of course i don't think she understands how paypal works in the first place....
