Tinting the windows would be a good thing to do considering you live in Cali. If you plan on getting a shifter knob, or steering wheel cover you could just pick those up at the local Advanced, or Autozone, whatever.

I tinted my windows, tail lights, 3rd brake light, front parking lights, and turn signals the 2nd day I had my truck. It's all personal preference, do whatever you want to it ;)

EDIT: I don't know if you're capable of doing the deckplate mod,... I didn't really notice anything by doing it, but everyone here swears by it. I have a flowmaster on my truck, it's dumped behind the axle. It cost about 40 bucks to get it put on. I like the way it sounds.

I would recommend not tinting your front windows, unless you are willing to be hassled by the cops...

Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
It's illegal after a certain percentage I believe.

Wow that sucks, I had no clue you couldn't tint your front windows in CA. Sorry about that.

well, you'll notice that everybody does it, regardless of law. I have mine tinted. It's a gambling matter. You CAN get stopped for it. I think it looks MUCH better with the front tinted. I did mine because i've grown up and dont do stupid shit anymore so i dont worry about gettin pulled over with a bong in my lap or something you know..

Tinted windows are a nice thing to have but not a good thing in Cali. The front driver and passenger side window must allow 70% or more light in. So anything less than 70% is considered illegal.
    http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/CA/

I have mine tinted at 27%, which to me pretty much matches the stock tint on the other windows.
    Tint at your own will

As far as what else you could add it's all up to you, how much your willing to spend, and your needs and purpose of it.

Online tint websites are wrong, they say that - but ANY aftermarket tint on the front windows are illegal. Not only does the CHP website confirm that, but i've confirmed that verbally with more than one LEO.

edit: can't have tint across the top of the front windshield either, i was cited for it in my old jetta.

    How sure are you?

I know that all the tint websites say that in PA you cant have any darker than something like 70%.

This is, however, a DOT suggestion.

PA law is that someone has to be able to see into the vehicle.
