Retrofit High Beams Don't Work

The title basically explains my issue. Got everything hooked up. Everything works except high beams. I click it to high beams and nothing moves

Did they ever work? What components are you using?

 

They never worked. Oh yeah you're right. Sorry. It's the Mini H1s

 

Reverse the wires on the relay? Are you using the morimoto harness?

 

yeah. What do you mean though? Like to the other side of the truck?

 

Reverse the red and black wire coming off the relay on the bottom of the projectors. Maybe its backwards.

 

I'd swap the blue and white on the H4 input of our harness first.

 

I don't see anything blue and white... But Edpsx, you're saying run red to black and black to red?

 

Ohhhh Andrew I see what you're saying. How to I get it out though?

Is that how they're supposed to be? Because my brown and white are opposite of that

 

Also make sure the pins are actually inside the "projector" labeled plug in the right spot as well. Sometimes they can slip off into the area next to the pin and not be working at all.

You could also test the relays by hooking them up to 12v direct to see if they trigger.

 

That pic is of the harness I have sitting next to me and it worked fine, so I assume its the correct method.

 

To swap the pins push something small into this hole and push the pin back. Then just push the correct one back in and it will snap in place.

 

Tiny flathead or an unbent paper clip. If you have a voltmeter, you can check the stock wiring and then orient ours accordingly (low to low, high to high, ground to ground). Ours is:

blue - high
brown - low
white - ground

 

If none of this works the control box is the suspect. I had a bad one on my first retrofit

 

Yeah I tried everything. Still no high beams :|

 

When you switch to high beams do you hear the click of the relays?

 

Boom! Problem no more! I forgot to try switching the red and black. That was the problem. Thanks for the help!

 

Nevermind I still have a problem. Fuckkkkk. Yeah I hear them clicking now. That's all it did
