    ok. did you use the brackets they sent or the ones of the stock radio?

    i had the problem using the ones off the stock radio.

    1st i’d try switching them may work the other way around on the 4 runner.



    I hate the stupid plastic brackets they sent! it “bounces” on big bumps and stuff on and off road.

    THE RADIO IS MOUNTED USING THE FACTORY METAL BRACKET...
    BUT THE TRIM PIECE "METRA" HAS ITS OWN KIND OF BRACKETS
    BUT I COULD NOT GET THEM TO WORK,
    SO I JUST USED IT WITHOUT THE ARM'S OR BRACKETS IF YOU WILL
    AND IT WAS PERFECT...WELL UNTIL THE MOVIE INCIDENT OF 2-27-14:mad:
    IM TIRED OF TAKING THE DASH APART.....

    i would not be either. but I’d do it considering how much you spent on the damn this! you want it to work right.


    they will say that motorized units don’t work with the runner or some BS. just tell them you know a few people with same set up and they have no problems.
