I'm not sure I like the idea of being slippery over rocks with that plastic stuff. I like that steel slows me down. I guess different situations could call for some slipperiness.

That's one of the 40"s. I was hoping I could potentially store them up on the shelves/rafters but they seemed to get bigger when I tried to get it up there. I got one half-assed up there and gave up haha

When you have little or no traction, I'd rather slide over rocks instead of drag. But more importantly, all the cool kids are doing it!!

Just got back with my steel order, and set up the bender. :goingcrazy:

Aaaaand now I gotta go to work. :(

yea the coefficient of friction is supppper low.

Its self lubricating Mark(Derp Mark..not i have a SAS Beast Mark), snow plows use it on their blade edges cause its so smooth and hard and doesn't wear down super fast.

    http://www.redwoodplastics.com/brochures/uhmw-engineering-data.pdf

For boat sides it would be great.

Also Jon..just noticed this..but the cab is now sitting higher yes?? how much higher? 1''?

In living up to Monte's quote (sig), I haven't done much but this at least gives you an idea of where this is headed...

Truth. Actually, I was planning on having the kick ups from the sliders tie into the cage. Does that count?

That one hoop was the hardest part (ended up having a total of 9 bends). I f*@&ed up the second hoop for the B pillar, so I modified my plans slightly. Got most of the other tubes bent up, I just have the PITA part of notching them. Hoping to get a lot of it done tomorrow, but with my track record - probably not. :anonymous:
