deep tire?

i want the tires to stand out more because it is only like an inch btw tire and front top of strut connector. is it suppose to be like this ? i had 3" lift put on it. Do i absolutly have to get deep rimms to solve this problem? any suggestions on which rims and where to get them?

What are you talking about? You give very little info so who knows. Do you have stock rims and tires? If you get aftermarket wheels with a different offset, that would solve your problem. Either that or spacers.

 

umm i dont know any other way to say it?
the tires/wheels are too far in. so they are too close to the top of struts in front. ok in the front there is a half moon shaped thing at top of struts.it is only like an inch to the tire. this seems way to close.
yes i have stock rimms and tires. so only way to fix is to get all new rimms with deeper offset? and maybe spacers. can anyone suggest where to get these rimms for a reasonable price?

The half moon shape thing you are referencing is a the upper control arm (I think).

Running spacers will set your wheels farther out, so will getting aftermarket wheels.

Rims are all a matter of personal preference.

 

put spacers to bring out the tires and rims i went with 1.25 spacers

 

I thought that the larger the backspacing the further out they would be....for example the stock wheels have a 4" backspace and most people go 4.5 when the get aftermarket rims so they can put wider tires on....Then again I could be wrong...All my knowledege of wheels and tires comes from this forum. Could someone clarify this for me?

yes mjp2 , that is what i am learning all over the net. but i am confused as how far which length backspacing will be from strut to tire? i dont wont some hip hop looking truck, i would like wider tires cause these factorys are soo skinny. and yes i sleep , i just have crazy hours cause of a car wreck when i was young causing me to have headaches all day everday so i have to sleep when my body and mind say to sleep thus it is sometimes in day and sometimes at night. i cannot ever be on a set schedule and i cant take sleeping meds cause i feel drugged up the next day cause of my bad matabolism. I do computer work out of my house on my own time schedule.
also a negative offset will set them out to but i have no idea what measurement offset will do to my truck. i mean how do u guys know what measurement rims and tires to get before u go get . where is the truck/rim/tire test out place???

its not so flexible is the thing. my health dictates my shedule. i am thinkin about a chiropractor, been to all docs and neurosurgeons and there is nothing or no technology for my situation out at the time.
how do i know if i need 6 or 6x5.5 bolt pattern?
how far does yours stand out past the fender mjp2? and u have 4.5 inch backspacing which puts then how far from the struts?
also what is your offest? do u have a pic of a side view of your truck u can send me and a direct back view?
