I was feeling the same way, but the past couple of days have just steamrolled me... I think it may be because I have been off for almost 5 days, so work hasn't been able to keep me busy.

Kase...i know you don't want to hear it but....if you take a break from school now, you more than likely won't finish. I know if i stop now, i'll never go back to school. I hate it. I feel the pain

 

Mark can play the whole "we're guys and not supposed to have feelings". But being away from home out here, I really don't have people to talk to about stuff that's going on in my life except my gf. So I've got to get it out somehow when I can't talk to her...

And you know I give you shit, not something I personally would do, but that's the fun of this place is giving eachother crap.

I'm happy as a clam currently. Do my own thing, sit back and watch others lives spiral out of control. It can get lonely but I'm in a much better position and happier lifestyle now than I was before.

 

Continue to prove them wrong is all i can say then....good for you dude.

Hmm, California is the only state that comes to mind for weather.

New Mexico really isn't that bad. You can live in the lower part of some mountains to get the temps you want. But it can get below freezing some days...

 

All the single ladies I talk to always say how lonely they are. They feel like they always need a guy with them for comfort or whatever. I don't know if it's because I'm very independent or because my roommate and I are 2 peas in a pod, but I'm not lonely at all. I don't need a girl in my life, nor do I want one.

 

I think there are those people that naturally want to have that family, and there are those that are perfectly happy with being independant.

I'm more of a family person I've come to realize. I didn't feel that way until I met my current gf. When I signed for the military I was ready to go overseas and deploy. That changed drastically.. Haha

 

That's how I am too. I can keep myself entertained and I have my friends if I need as well. I'm just seeing what life brings.

Mine is near Texas A&M. It seems like a really cool job and the pay is pretty awesome. So I could probably be fine with a year or two and maybe get transferred back to Colorado or something. There's worse places I think to live IMO

 

Depends on what part of Tennessee I guess. I've heard that the major cities in that state's economy is falling apart. I know nothing about Kentucky haha

 

Exactly what happened to me. Next thing I know I'm in Missouri by myself and everything haha

My issue with making friends is that almost everybody that I get along with is married, so obviously they're not going to spend their few and far between weekends with a 20 year old. Nobody outside of our squadron works the same schedule as we do, so the only guy I hang out with here is a buddy that I know from back home, when our weekends match up haha

 

college station isn't bad, but it's small and fairly isolated

 

And there is the normal Ben I know... Haha
