I suppose I should just have this thread moved over to the 2nd Gen build threads and re-titled, I just bought a bunch of goodies :D I think I'll throw it all on and take it wheeling in a couple weeks and call it good until something breaks or I find something else I need. So can a mod get this moved and change the title maybe?

Ok got the 1" body lift installed today, that was much easier than the suspension lift. There will be more updates to this thread in the next week or two, hope there's someone out there watching! Hahaju4e6uga_a81de4c9d294707994805e5d0bafe5330c453d54.jpg

4" of lift, that's as far as I'm going. If I need more clearance I'll start cutting, I took a grinder to the bottom corner of the cab mounts and just took a little off and rounded it off a little more for now since I don't rub it but in the near future I'll be doing a CMC

So I took it to a pile of dirt in town to test for rubbing and the tires don't but the radiator fan rubs the shroud a little at the top, which doesn't make sense to me?? I was thinking about maybe switching to an electric fan which is what it should have been in the first place IMO. Anyway here are some pics
No rubbing in the rear and plenty of room

The front isn't rubbing and there's about an inch or so of room at the back of the well

And just a full pic for safe measure ;)

I broke my front flaps off on a curb when the truck was bone stock.. So no lol but the rear would fit, I'm running 285/75r16 Kuhmo Road Venture MTs so it's a pretty aggressive tread, an all terrain would be easier to use if you're trying to keep flaps, even then you might have to get aftermarket ones. Reason is they are looooong and they get pinched between the tire and a hard place easily.

I just noticed your profile says prerunner, you could use a couple different lifts in that case, spindles are one option, the 5100s for sure, and AAL/new leaf pack. If you don't want coil overs or you're like me and couldn't afford them, the 5100s are great with the setup I have they are on the 0 setting and they ride great, if you just got 5100s and AAL you could set the fronts on the 2nd or 3rd setting to get the front leveled with the back
