CV axle nuts

I am going to be changing out my CV axles this weekend on my 97 Tacoma with the manual locking hubs. I read that the axle nuts with the ADD are 35MM socket size. Just wondering if the axles with the manual locking hubs are the same size?

 

No 35mm nut for manual hub. Just 10mm for the dial bolts, 12mm for the hub body, a brass drift to help remove the cone washers.

 

Thanks for the info. Are the cone washers reuseable or should I get new ones?

 

I've always re-used them (on my old solid axle truck). JUST DON'T LOSE ANY . They are like gold.

Actually, it wasn't the cost I was referring to. If you lose one or two while doing a trail repair, you are screwed. There is no substitute. They are unique.

 

Just took my hubs off and those cones were almost welded in. I trashed almost all of them. They sell in packs for each hub?

 

Unfortunately, the cones don't come in packs for each hub. You need to purchase them individually.
