Eric, I was planning on just picking it up Saturday. I'm not sure what I am painting it with yet. Any recommendations? I was looking at some Eastwood products or some other satin paints. I am trying to figure out if I want it black or white. I was going to just paint it black for now to see how I like it, before I get it coated.

OK mark, sounds good. It's waiting here in the shop :)
I typically recommend some Rustoleum self etching primer followed by your choice of finish whether it's just matte black paint, some rattle can bedliner, or other. I personally like the Duplicolor spray can bedliner for my uses. Durable and about $50 to coat the bumper start to finish including the primer.

Nice to see a good size Reno group. Matt pointed me here:http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/317844-let-modding-begin.html

I'm interested in stopping by mod day to see what's going on. I'm getting ready to lift and would like to check out some of the different setups.

Happy to help turn a wrench if needed.

I'll be skiing in the morning but could swing buy around 2 if people will still be around.

Using the wife's hair drier on my air filter. Was cruising home, and the truck kept loosing power (bogging down,) but I immediately knew the source of the problem. Hopefully no permanent damage, I had about 1/8 tank of gas so I picked up some fuel stabilizer and water remover. Trucks idling in the garage right now to burn it off.

Lesson learned. New boxed intake will be ordered this week.

Didn't realize it would pull so much rain water on the freeway.

unclamp that intake runner tube from the fender so it just draws through the inlet to the plastic air filter housing. That way at least it's drawing air from inside the engine bay and not inside the fender Nate! Tape off the hole in the fender too so no water can come through it.
