As far as I know with they way mine is wired I have no need for the second row. I think if you wired it so that the ground was the switchable link in the wiring you would use that instead, but I'm not sure. Either way I have no need to add wire to those slots.

Im in the process of hard wiring my aftermarket seat heaters. Got the switches installed and they look totally stock :). Just waiting on the seat covers for the final install. Gonna attach the heating elements to the seat covers instead of taking my seats apart and doing it the hard way. Anyone know if it matters the direction the heating elements are placed?e7a8ynam_3cfa2aa0189eef4baaba1bb2b5a342802a96b2aa.jpg

someone said upside down, search for seat heater install. I'm one of those people that has to have something in front of me while it's being explained. So by him just saying upside down I won't fully understand what he means until my kit comes in and I start messing with it.

post #6 in this thread http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/250326-seat-heaters.html i just have no clue what he means by upside down. like it has to be turned upside down, or does he mean flip it over from a front to back kind of upside down. :notsure: if you figure it out let me know, i ordered my seat heater kit off Amazon and it should be here any day now. gonna wire it up soon as i get it but leave the heating pads off of it until the seat covers come.
