Tor, how long ago did you get the header from power fab? i just called them and they seemed surprised i asked about it

 

Powerfab dont sell the turbo manifold or turbo kit anymore.

that would explain why they didnt call me. either way... how much do the headers run? my ex-mech dad says upwards of a grand but that seems like waay too much

And a great kit it is. The highest TQ to boost psi yet. You need to update your power numbers bro.

When we worked together, and SIK X started making them, it was about $22-2400 for the headers, cross-over, and up pipe.

1 3/4" primaries, 2.5" cross-over, T4 flange, and wastegate flange. All 304ss. Ready to bolt on turbo and wastegate.

As of last week, these the axles were re-installed. Used Timken bearings instead of OEM because it cost only $250 for the pair, instead of $600+ from Toyota. Unnecessarily expensive.





Those are using the ARP Toyota Celica wheel studs.

Long wheel nuts are required as well. Those in the picture do not work.

 

If I remember correctly for drag requirements you need to have open ended lugs with studs that exceed the head of the lugs. Is it the same for race courses as well?

 

Rear sway bar never came with stops, to prevent it from shifting. Whiteline makes bolt-on stops to alleviate that problem.






Here is the transmission again. Throw out bearing was squealing like a pig, and the piston would stick partially depressed. So what I thought was a great TOB, is actually more well know as giving a lot of headaches.




Rob and I found this damaged seal last time we had the transmission out. Well that knick seems to be allowing clutch dust in between the raised portions. In turn causing the TOB to stick and not fully return.




New seals will be here today, and we can get this thing back together.

Trust me though, I have already found a better TOB.

 

For what we do, no. Possibly in a sanctioned race. Would have to look at the rule book. Not required in autoX though.
