    '06 was also a big change, different motor, I think you got wave rotors, works forks and shock, and some other stuff. Then '10 they went to some global spec crap, you want 06-09 ;)

    Have to admit KTM's now are bad ass, but you are comparing that to 8 year old Yamaha tech (last major update being '06) so while a brand new KTM can edge out a 2006 Yamaha that doesnt say much for KTM. Major props to them for keeping a 2 stroke in the design room and making changes though, Yamaha just need to stop being pussies and get back in the market
