Chromebooks don't really store anything locally. All your documents and such are cloud side storage. So the hard drive size is largely irrelevant.

In addition most (all?) have an SD card slot for removable storage & SD cards are cheap these days. Most Apple users aren't used to expandable storage & get suckered into paying all the money upfront for storage they won't need for a year or more when it'll be much less expensive. ;)

The Acers definitely have the SD slot.
Newegg.com has Sandisk class 10, 16GB SD cards for around $20.

You can find much better deals than that if you're not in a hurry.

    Mostly... :D

I think that might be worse now and potentially one of the areas to fix. Never used to bother me in the rusty Scout but it will bother me in the Taco.

You guys and anybody who wants to attend are more than welcome. You can stay all 3 days or any day that you want to come along. Camping is free, we take over the back half of the campground across the river that's at the base of Kelly Flats.

I'm trying to remember the month we do this in, either April or May.

There is enough space for RV's and/or tents. We pack 'em in there tight.
I usually take Friday off, go up and get the sweet spot and leave Sunday afternoon. I'm usually the first one there and the last to leave.

We do one trail Saturday, the other Sunday, both Kelly Flats and 7-mile.

In fact if you're interested in membership, the weekend will fulfill all requirements. To be a member you have to attend 3 club functions, one has to be a trip. So 2 trips and we count the evening beer drinking as a meeting. There is no requirement after that, attend whenever you want. Pay yearly dues of $45.00.

    Very Good Point.

You guys make very good points, I'm glad I brought this up in here.

I got SD cards laying around everywhere, they seem to accumulate like dust so no problem there.

I got a big chunk back (deducted tuition, and was unemployed for 3 months). :D

Of course it should all go to savings. :(

Savings, yeah if you didn't have a truck to mod. My sister got about 6k back and she already has plans for it.

Make sure you're careful with large state returns and put some back for next year. The feds will want their cut on that state return since you basically didn't pay taxes on it as earned income and you will most likely get 1099-G'd on it. That's what just happened to us on a few returns and if you don't plan for it and it's a large amount it can bite you in the ass. Talk to your tax preparer about such things as I'm not a CPA, I just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
