Like my conversation with SeminoleTRD, there is no direct replacement for halogen bulbs. LED and HID alike.
Sorry, no direct replacement besides another halogen bulb...

Ya I am glad you talked to me about the whole thing, got me thinking more and more about retrofits and what styles look best to me.

I'm just trying to help out. There are some people on here JUST for pissing contests...I'm actually trying to make sure my buddies(you guys) don't get ripped off. Yes, I'm still learning a thing or two, who isn't. No, I don't know everything. I just share what I know. I personally don't like 2nd gens with HIDs. With or without the glare shield, there seems to be NO cutoff. At least on my truck when I ran straight HIDs with a really good glare shield, there was a nice cutoff. There was some ambient light coming from the headlight, but it wasn't in anyone's rearview mirror. I even went so far as to drive behind my girlfriend because she has a car. She even said that my lights weren't blinding and put a ton of light on the road.

I like how there is an unlimited fied of customization for 2nd Gen lights. BHLM, or you can even go different colors, color matching the grill...tons of stuff. My truck was simple, my fender things were black so I painted my wheels satin black. Then my headlights, then my grill, now my tube bumper will be black. I like the impulse red and black theme.

Blue, at least now you can say you tried them. Down the road, just provide honest feedback to anyone who asks.

Ya i was going to test the BHLM and retro on the stock housings after much needed buffing on the lense when/if that time comes and if things go well possibly do it all again on my smoked lenses and selling the pair i like least.

Red and black is a great combo, always has been. First gens look badass when done right.

I'm going to the clean, from the factory look. As if you could get these options or something like that. I want you to look at my truck then double take and say, "Hey, that...looks different, but I don't know why..."

Ya I am the same way. That's why my tires fill the same space in the wheel wells as they did with stock height and tires. Wheels will be simple SCS Stealth 6s, nothing crazy looking but nice. Satoshi grill looks stock and not crazy over done. I like the clean Chip Foose style more than the WCC style

I'm not sure of the customer service, but you just explain to them your experience and see if you could get a refund of some sort.

I had one of my LEDs go out last night. I have emailed Lifetime LEDs about it and will post when I hear back from them.

I just received my LED lights in the mail and installed them. These things are awesome. So much light!!! A bi$#h to install though...

Just had an issue with the packaging...

Did anyone else here get them in a plain white box??? When I search these LED lights on the forum they show the manufactures packaging not just a white box.

From what I have seen being a dealer for them. The white boxes are the older early packaging. They did a redesign of packages. If you got a white box then you got older package. Good lights still, you will enjoy them

Oh ok thanks for the info.

Overall I'm very happy and impressed by the light output. Getting the rubber boot on them was really difficult when it came to getting the metal hook that holds the lights in place in the housing. Nonetheless after getting them installed and driving around my neighborhood in the dark, I can happily say that the output is better than my PIAA bulbs. The light is a nice white with no noticeable blue tint to it.

    Can't forget that lifetime warranty!!!

The ring that locates the lights does unlock of the bulb. Makes it a little easier to get the boot on. But yes it was tight.
