well i got a new vehicle

so i finally got a new vehicle along with the big blue truck tell me what yah think. By the way its a 1955 buick special with 18,390 orignal miles

badass! that thing has lots of potential if you are into the ratrod / lead sled looks.

 

yah i know right everything is original nothing is different from when it came off the factory line.

 

Oh, I hope you preserve it as a survivor. Sure, it's yours to do with as you please, but...there are so many poor-condition, high-miles, barn-stored cars that could become slammed lead sleds. There's not many that are true survivors.

The sound of that engine...I can smell the unburned hydrocarbons wafting through the evening air at the drive in...

When I was a kid the neighbor had one and would pull out of his garage next to us and idle past my bedroom window every morning.

Always knew it was time to get up and go help Dad eat his breakfast

 

oh yah this thing will stay in its condition with new paint job of coarse has rust bubbles gunna do black on top white under chrome

well i kinda did my grandpa bought it before he died from a lady that had it under car port it was rotting on its orignal white wall tires. he bought it becasue when my granpa married grandma they had a 66 buick and it reminded him of it and then my grandpa died of cancer and granma wanted to sell it but ikept on asking her for it and i finally got it so i am 3rd owner

Nice car! Is that the original exhaust? It sounded really good for being over 50 years old.

 

no i had that put on original exhaust was rusted out but it sounded close to that had flowmaster 50 series put on with new tubing for about $239 total

 

i just saw a purple one drive down the street yesturday.. crappy confdition, but nice.. (dont see them too often)

 

haven't seen one in FL except at old town on Saturday nights
