So I've got a Magnetic Grey 2013 Tacoma 4x4 TRD Offroad Double Cab w/ Navi, backup camera. Basically it's loaded. It's got ~17,000 miles on it now. It's 100% stock. I love this truck. It does everything I need it to do. No complaints.

Butttttttttt, I'm getting that itch to get back into a fast car. There's a local newer GT500 that I keep seeing for sale & it's really tempting to jump on it!

Did any of you miss your Tacoma after selling it? What do you think mine is worth if I sell it? These trucks have such high resale value...

I always miss having a truck when I don't have one. Buy a second car to go fast in.

I immediately regretted it and bought another one three weeks later.

It would definitely be a trade-off in that respect. However, the area I live in doesn't have harsh winters. It was 74° three days ago.

I also don't make it up to the mountains nearly as much as I'd like...

I wouldn't sell my Tacoma for anything. If you really want a ford go get one but you will regret it.

Depends on how much your truck means to you I guess. For me its my first truck and first ever new vehicle. So I'm enjoying every moment of it and I hope to keep this truck until it falls apart.

I know what you mean. I traded my '11 G37S that I had set up exactly how I wanted it... for the Tacoma.

I do miss going fast, but if I were you I'd keep the truck and just get a small driver's car like the Scion FR-S or Subee BRZ. They're plenty peppy and handle like a much more expensive car. Get your speed fix right there. They make turbo's for 'em, too.

If money is the issue (can only afford one vehicle), keep the truck.

My first new vehicle and first truck ever. Its like falling in love with someone for the first time and dumping the moment you see what looks like a hottie but really you just had one too many beers.

I'd feel real bad if I sold my beast.

I might regret it if it didn't come with the Toyota factory vibes

Unfortunately for me... my 3rd car need was one of good gas mileage. So until I get promoted and transferred back to the place I was working, my non-truck ride is a just as slow 1.6L Hyundai Accent.

    Awesome gas mileage, though...

I have to say, after driving around in my G, which was faster than 90% of the cars on the road (maybe 95%) it is humbling to be tooling around in a Hyundai.

True, but it isn't fast or sexy. The wife has a '12 ES 350 I just paid off, so she's driving in style... at least she's the one making the payment on my commuter. :D
