Still think you should do the bmw x5 fogs :p

I've always dreamed of someone, somehow , putting two rows of rigids 6" led bar in the headlights housings, one with some sort of cutoff for lows , and the other untampered for highs. But that's a lot.

How functional would this honeycomb things be?

    You and me both lol.

Either of you get any bucket wobble due to the added weight of the projector hanging on it? My drivers side one shakes a little bit on bumps and I think its the whole bucket moving around. Might open it back up and put something under it to help prevent so much movement.

My retrofit is nowhere near finished, but I've never had any issues with weight even in quad setups.

It's definitely a problem that no one talks about... There is wobble from the FX-R or heavier (minis don't do it). I have made a few of these and have attempted to make brackets to solve it. My current setup has very little wobble, but it is still there. Working through it.

Hey Andrew I been sub'd on this thread to see how you're coming along with the retro on your '14. Excited to see those 460's! Congrats on the new truck btw! White is the way to go! ;)

My retrofits currently on my truck are sold(I got an unbelievable offer for em that I couldnt pass up) and the new owner is overseas still on military orders.

Anyway, I just had Cesar @ Lightwerkz finish these for me:

    -LS460r projectors
    -D2S Osram CBI's
-100mm Morimoto xbLED rings in the shrouds

I'm sure yours will be a little more custom than mine, but nonetheless running sexy 460 projectors! :D

Im just wondering because of how large the buckets are and how they are attached isnt causing the wobble with the extra weight pulling down on them. The drivers side does it, but not the passenger. Maybe the bushing isnt tight where it swivels on one but is on the other. Its driving me batty everytime I drive.

Looks fantastic. I build those for Caesar as well, so it's a solid projector for sure.

Are you doing another retrofit instead?

Oh no the headlights I posted are in transit to me as we speak lol so those will be my new headlights.

Right now I'm running FX-R 3.0's but they're already sold so I'm shipping them out as soon as I get my 460 retrofit in.

I figured my slight wobble was because I haven't put the fender bolts back in yet :D

Are you planning on doing anything with the wy5w corner lights? I cant decide what im going to do there. It just seems out of place.

In my FJ I went from Q45s to LS460s and it was like turning the light switch on. Completely difference.

    They're Lexus projectors... :)
