    Much like my axle, I had a budget, and quickly blew it the fuck out of the water when I tried to stick to it. I forgot how much mounting and balancing 35s cost.

    Remember kids, cheap ain't bad ass and bad ass ain't cheap. Remember that and you might save some heartache haha

    Yeah... Les Schwab charged me $100 just to balance my tires. They considered them "oversize tires" and charged more for the balance... I have a gnarly stack of weights on there too because of all the missing lugs and such throwing off the balance. They weren't even sure they were going to get them to balance they were having so much trouble...

    That is insanely overpriced for (from the sound of it) minimal work to get them to balance out.

    Do you know if the measured any of the runout or heavy spots on your wheels and tires and remounted the tires to counter act? (If there's a ton of weight on there, I bet they didn't.) For that price, they should have!...........

    Pretty sure they didn't... They did get the tires balanced though, because my 65 mph shake went away. I have wheels that run the sticky weights so they are more or less hidden so it's not too big of a deal. The price surprised me a lot though!

    Yep... Cost more than the alignment I had done there... If I had known it would cost that much before hand I would have waited and taken it to the dealership here.

    well having them all mounted and balanced for 80 doesent sound so bad if brady had to pay 100 lol!

    NEW PROBLEM! and i should have seen this coming, but the toyota studs are stupidly short. on some of my new lug nuts (had to buy a whole new set since the wheel is different from tactory) have 2-3 threads showing, and some of them managed to get flush with the end of the lug nut

    Just some of them? Seems odd that they would be different lengths. You sure you had the wheel even on there when you noticed this? And if so I'd guess a previous owner broke/stripped some of them and either replaced them with shorter or longer ones.

    I know some companies make longer studs for 2nd gens, I'm sure they do for 1st gens also. Though I wouldn't be surprised if we ran the same studs.

    i can go and sand down the mounting surface to flatten it up. now granted i can get another 1/2 to 3/4 turn out of them too i realized because i didnt tighten them down enough to drive on the street, because i had to tighten them with a ratchet inside the wheel so i couldnt get leverage (i need to get a long t handle or something to keep with the wheels since th toyota tire iron is to big to go in the lug nut hole.)

    Do you not have a socket you can put on those lug nuts? That's how I do mine. Although I also have keyed lug nuts so it's a bit different.

    I had to get a socket, but then I didn't har anything to really tighten it with except the ratchet which fit inside the rim


    Also, with no trimming, I could get a max of 2 turns of the steering wheel lol

    You can get longer studs..kinda a PITA to swap but totally doable.

    Or maybe buy ET lug nuts

    I can't tell how far out the tires stick so much in that photo or how far in..but you might need spacers and the spacers studs are longer then stock..but if you end up needing like .75 Borja spacers get ET lugs anyways for those and the current lugs i bet would fit the spacers..but again..no idea if you actually need them.

    Might have to go check. The lug holes are tapered tho, so not sure if I can use em

    ordered from low range

    9 bucks for a set of 12 is a steal! much less than the auto parts stores

    so i didnt order the bearing kit, konsta says we might not need it. so i orded the solid pinion spacer kit, so HOPEFULLY when we reset it that will fix the problems

    Since we've got the same truck (yours has more stuff).

    Did you have any issues getting the alignment in spec? The placed I took my truck to was unable to get the caster right?

    Im NOT about to drop another few hundred on suspension parts this year if I can help it I love the look now but the suspension hates me for it (alignment and leaking grease past the band on the cv boot).

    Uh thinkin ima try'n get the tie rod ends and try to get it aligned
