    CVT Brackets for RTT Roof Top Tents.jpg

    As you can see by the photo the bigger bracket is the one we started using last year. It will not work on the Thule exporter as the rack is wider but we found an easy solution with that at like Ace or HD or Lowes. Just getteing corner brackets and cut them in half and use them as they have some thickness to them.

    That looks like mine unless they've changed something since the 2013 model year. I called Toyota to get some clarification and they were truly worthless, couldn't tell me anything at all about the payload of the rack. I think I'm going to mount it up there and test it a bit to see if it will work before I end up paying more money for a rack system for my cap.

    My honest opinion is use it till it breaks. They seemed sturdy enough to me. Put a couple of 2x6's up there and put weight on them to see how well it does. Just thinking out loud.:playball:
