    Probably has to do with the ratio of snow plows to road miles.
    Gallatin County, where I am, is pretty big and we have a 4 lane interstate, 4 secondary 2 lane highways plus all of the city streets. The interstate and highways get done 1st and then, if there's time, the city streets get done - main traffic routes first then residential. Yesterday they plowed and re-plowed the interstate and highways and never got to the city streets due to the blowing/drifting snow. We have 18 plows to cover a lot of ground.

    EDIT: I remember when I was in AK and had to shuttle my ex to the airport at 5am to catch his flight to the North Slope the city streets were always plowed even on the day of the storm. here we're lucky to see the city streets plowed a day or 2 after a storm

    I just woke up, but it looks really nice. No clouds, sun, no wind, 28F. ;)

    That must be it. Lot of times the plows are out roving before the snow actually starts.

    No puppy pics tomorrow :( Kristi made appointment for pics of kids in Anchorage. Might go by myself. I'm a little upset she did that. Says she can't resched cuz of some special price. :rolleyes: :frusty:

    Don't be surprised if he shows up. I expect the "I'm retired what the hell do I do now" to show up any day now. ;)

    Don't know..... Just seems a wierd way to put stuff out side if it's yours and you want to move it back inside. It's been outside since at least yesterday and was supposed to rain last night. Stuff's not covered, so more leaning toward eviction - someone who just wanted to get the stuff out of the place and didn't care what happened to it. But :notsure: might go :spy: at the sign on the door :cool:

    EDIT: One year like the one you're having and it more than pays for itself. What used to take 30-45 mins or more shoveling takes about 10 mins with my snow blower. ;)
