What is he looking for? 4x4, double cab, access, 4.0L or 2.7, etc.

As for color. Whatever he likes the most and has the options he is looking for. Personally I like Magnetic Grey Metallic the most.

    edit: in before the poll.

i like the DC short bed....oh btw.....if you have a enclosed garage, you might want to check the length measurements, because a long bed wouldn't have fit in mine.

I like my access cab. Does he need a DC? I didnt really need that much cab space and I like the look of the AC a little better. Lots of things to factor in when buying a truck. As for color, I like the speedway blue. I didnt like it at first but they look nice fixed up a little. I see so many gray and silver tacos, Im starting to get sick of those colors.

Can't tell him which to get, but I got the double cab, long bed for a couple reasons...

Double cab because (for me) it was practical. Don't wanna trade it in when I have kids, and heard that car seats can be difficult with the access/extended cab. For when I do end up driving more then one other adult around, I'd prefer they be comfortable. I had no preference regarding the overall look, but the AC SB probably has better turning radius.

Long bed because I wanted a toolbox to compensate for the lack of a trunk. At the same time, I still wanted as much bed space as possible. I have a long driveway and no garage, so the length didn't matter. If your garage/parking space is limited... or if you do parallel parking... you may wanna keep it short.

    /my 2 cents

Why is it NOT cool to buy a four door car but it's OK to buy a four door truck!?!
What the heck is up with that?!!

Unless he has kids and can't afford a second vehicle, get the access cab. IMO it looks much cooler and more rugged.

    Cheers.
