Hey Boone Taco, my oldest daughter's boyfriend's buddy is one of the guys who opened Appalachian Mountain Brewery up there. Do you like it? I've only been there once, but enjoyed their beer. My youngest daughter is a student up there right now so I plan to go back to try some of their newer offerings.

For tonight though, it's Lagunitas again...

Brace yourself for the asshole that is about to respond to this. I tend to keep my business local. Appalachian Mountain Brewery Started by "locals" that moved here from Florida less than a few years ago can suck a fat one. Never have had their beer, and most likely never will. To me and the overwhelming majority, one is not and never will be "local" if not born here.

New IPA tonight. 9.x% ABV. Rounded maltiness like a Sierra Nevada, but more bitterness like a Schlafly APA. Only $5 a bottle, so a couple $$ less than the Green Flash Imperial I usually buy. Will buy again!

It's called homebrew, and decent brewers not parading to be people they aren't.
You should do some research regarding brewing in Boone and the surrounding areas. Cottonwood, Boone brewing etc.
