    uhh...yours is a 99..Marks is a 96 like me...not quite the same..really..at all..

    95-97s seem to take the 3'' lift much better the 98-04s for odd reasons. That said, you need to get some weight on yours pretty quick.

    Well, I took my truck to get it aligned before Moab last year at shwab, I didn even look at the sheet, they got it as close as it's gonna get and that's good enough for me.
    Then there's this. 96s just handle lifts better is kinda what we've seen

    eh, monte is being picky, yes basicially the same truck:p

    IMO 5100s and eibachs feel stiff as shit, even witht the bumper. i suspect after airing down 35s my front end will feel softer, but its not s soft suspension still IMO. wait i have no idea what tire rama even is haha. I thought you were using that as a slang term for somewhere. I had mine aligned at schwab, and ive had a tire or two replaced there, i like em.

    sorry to hear you had a hassle with the tire place and tie rod nonsense

    if you got a winch and skids it'll mellow the ride out more..haha

    and you should get skids...of some sort..seriously..

    aired down 35s might not be much different depending on the tires themselves..no idea how those will do aired down.

    Yeah how much did you take out? Can you bring your ruler/guide thing with you this weekend and then I can use it to do mine. haha

    How long did it take you to get that all done? Looked pretty quick but I don't know what your time lapse rate was.

    I want to say about an hour each. The front ended up taking longer haha. That harbor freight grinder cut through that shit like a knife through butter

    Hmm... 1.75" should be perfect I think. I only need to do my rear. My fronts clear, well, I think they still clear anyway. haha And an hour doesn't sound too bad. I just need to find a good way to trim my flares.

    Yeah you made it look really easy in the vid! I am also rocking a Harbor Freight grinder. haha

    you took extra out at the front and back??? why?

    anything cuts the sheet metal like butter haha its just when there are 8 layers of it its a PITA...when you gonna do the front?


    be super easy to make your own..like..5 mins if that..

    He's coming down this weekend to do the tub! Should be a busy weekend!

    I could make my own but that would involve me having to go buy a ruler and then go buy some drill bits to put a hole in that ruler... I doubt Mark will need it again. haha So why not just borrow it.

    just find a piece of scrape wood lol and use a tape measure to mark it and drill it.....lol not that hard man haha

    Monte, I took more Out of the front and rear because I've seen pics of tucks like jons and when's stuffed it looked like the tire was almost rubbing, plus I wanted to have more leeway wen I reposition the axle with the Chevy springs

    welp I did more than 1", oh well. better to cut more than less. and im not planning on moving the axle any where different. just in case it moves forward or back a little bit. who knows
