Finished up my install today. It took me around 4 hours or so after putting a couple coats of trim paint on. Love the look of it now!

That looks great! They aren't too complicated to install and they match your wheels! I really like how these flares dress up a Tacoma!

Agreed. I wasn't sure if I would like it at first but after I got the first one on there was no doubt. I have some rubbing in the front so had to order 3/4" top plate spacers which will hopefully fix the issue.

Did you guys get any extra coverage out of them? I am in Germany and can't pass inspection unless the tires are covered by the fenders.

They provide quite a bit more coverage than the factory flares. However, I have 285s on mine and they stick out past the flares 1-2 inches. I'll get a little narrower tires next time so the flares cover them better.

I am running 285s as well but they are duratracs. Duratracs seem slightly narrower than other tires but idk. I have to get the tires covered or I will not pass inspection.

WOW! Nice write up! Very informative! How much did it cost you to get them color matched? I want to do them color matched and was curious on pricing. Truck looks awesome. All of your guys with them.

I just wanted to say that the tutorial was well done, unlike the ridiculous video I watched or the supplied instructions. Unfortunately, I tripped across it after the installation.

Removing the front portion of the front fenders was absolutely no fun! Two screwdrivers and I ended up breaking one clip on each fender part, which doesn't matter, since they are going into the trash anyhow.

I chose to drill with the front fender in place, rather than marking. Which, happened to be the only useful item in the video. I also marked the factory holes (white) after starting a screw and removing it, in the locations not previously used.

One question for you guys; Has anyone added rear flaps after installing the flares? Each state is a little different on regs. I just don't like getting pulled over much.

Bringing this thread back to life! Does anyone know where I can get black anodized screws to replace the SS hardware that comes with these? Should I be worried about corrosion with switching to anodized aluminum? A lot of the black paint chipped off of the SS screws over the past few months and I want a more durable solution. Thanks in advance!

I got black anodized ones that fit perfect for my scratch guard rings on my wheels from Fastenal... I think I needed like 40 of em and I paid like 6 bucks
