I'm on my second tacoma. First was 1999 that I bought new and modded with pretty much everything at one time or another for 14 years. Toyota bought it back due to frame rust. New tacoma is exact same truck down to the black color with alpine nav/dvd, tint, de-badged, and softopper, so far.
I'm on my second reg cab. First bought new in 99, second just now in 13. both 4x4 in black. Lots of mods on both and will be updating with photos on #2. Alas #1 went to live with relatives in the country just like pets I had as a kid.

God damn, I didn't realize what a crazy bastard you were. In only 50k your truck has went through that many transformations?

I couldn't imagine doing the stuff you do with such a new vehicle!

I bought mine at 60 and she's already at 70, I'm hoping to make it way over 200 before looking for another DD. Ideally I'll still have this taco then and be able to go full retard with it :D

I can appreciate that, I was the same way with my ford but not by choice. Hope to get there by choice with this truck, if yours makes it 400k it should be a cake walk for mine :p

    Now have almost 106k.
    Still have the same tires.

Thanks man! Your truck is Badass! No luck up in the Upper part of the Owens river, lower part was blowing up in this one spot tho! I put the Bestop on about a year ago and have never regretted it! I've camped in all sorts of weather in it and it's way better than a pop up tent on the ground. Taking it down if and when I need to carry something big is no sweat now. Here's a few pics of the fish I caught down in lower parts of Owens rivers

That second guy looks a little skinny! Extremely jealous though. I have 2 more weeks until I can get out and fish :pout:. Its will be a good 9 days of it though! For now Ill just tie a few flies here and there.

I almost went with a bestop. I am looking for camper shell now though.

Yea that Lil brown was the biggest of the bunch surprisingly. Biggest trout today weighed 1lb 2oz, it was a blast regardless! Down here the copper Jon nymphs were the Flys that were working.
Are you going to put your RTT on the shell?

Well that depends on how everything works out . I am going to be living out of the truck and am weighing out the options currently.

I have decided a hard shell is needed for 4 months out of the year here. I can either go with a flip pac and have the tent and shell integrated or get the shell and possibly do a trailer in the future for the RTT.

Leaning more towards the camper/trailer right now
