I am looking to pull the trigger on an OME or 5100 lift soon and would appreciate it if any of you have any recommendations for a place to do the installation in Jacksonville. I obviously would like it to be as cheap as possible. I would do it myself but just not trying to do this in my condo parking lot.
    Thanks in advance guys.

    Really good ones are:
    Overbuilt Customs
    Over the Top Customs
    Happy Trails

If you buy through 4WheelParts by the aiport they also offer installs. Or find a buddy who has a garage. Guessing you aren't military? The hobbyshops on base are pretty legit.

    I will look into those.
I thought about 4wheelparts but they don't have any of those lifts on the website. I am not military but I do know a guy who is and said if I needed to he would go on base with me if I wanted to go that route. That is an option too if I had the time.

Cool. Overbuilt and Over The Top are in my Jeep club and they do great work. Not sure on their prices though. I do all my own work but never heard of them being over priced. Best of luck and post some pix!

The shop at McDill is super legit. Lifts, loaner tools, everything. I would be down to help out. Paying to have stuff installed is a waste lol.

You could totally use my driveway. I helped a buddy lift his f150 and I did my own leveling kit. Not to mention all the engine work on my camaro and friends cars. I've got beer if you bring pizza it'll get done :)

This is quite the process. Never done anything like it so I'm learning as I'm going. Wasn't planning on showing it until it was done but it's taking so long that I figured I'd give yall a little update/teaser pic. Got a ways to go but slowly making progress.

That sounds like a plan! I am always down to do my own work but I know this project would be a little more time consuming than most and lets face it Time is money. I took Lilbigman's advice and contacted Dixieland offroad and their prices are great. Actually lower than what I would have expected. Coggin Toyota at the avenues wanted $735 just for labor (smoking something).

But I will reach out on my next project for sure and thanks for offering to help!
