    Edit the tech (and I have) noticed that the truck sags to the left a bit, is this the 'tacoma sag' or did I jack something up on a wheeling excursion?!?!

    John, I think your alignment guy can do better than that. Did you end up getting a lifetime deal like you wanted?

    I would take it back. Even though you have added lift, they should be able to get 0* toe, 0* camber and at least +1* caster. The caster on both sides is way low but the right side is very low.

    It may be the experience level of the tech. I would ask for their most experience guy and tel him what you expect.

    It is unlikely they can ever get the caster higher than +1.5* with stock upper control arms but they should be able to do much better than they have.

    How does it drive now? Have you had it on the freeway yet? Is the steering wheel straight?

    No they said they dont dont offer lifetime alignment (les schwab).

    The steering wheel is pretty staight maybe a touch off.

    I got it up to maybe 60mph but the rds are so bad idk if its the truck or the rd haha

    It is a 4cyl and probably needs some weight in the frontend...
    Who does offer a lifetime alignment (ive had 2 in the last e
    Year)

    He said they offer 30 days to bring it back in...im thinking about doing a diff drop (does this effect alignment or even help anything)

    It only took em like 30 min to do it and they were at closing time 5pm...

    Edit-thoughts of truck sagging to the left?

    Personally I wouldn't bother with the diff drop kit. What little gains there are aren't worth your time and money.

    Sagging left is probably your typical taco lean. Mine got bad when I put aftermarket coils on my 5100's. I'm pretty sure the factory coils have a stiff one on the drivers side to compensate for it but my 886's were both the same so I got an almost 2" taco lean... I have ORI's up front now and I just run an extra 20 psi in the drivers side to fix it.

    Brady I think the diff drops on first gens are different than that of a second gen..... secong gen is physically hampered by the fact we have spot that wont move while I believe the first gens can lower their whole diff versus rotating it like second gens

    I've heard it's a little better on 1st gens but still not really worth much. Guess it depends on who you ask. Mike and Monte always go back and forth about it on here. Haha

    Also being a 4x4 4cyl, I found for the 30 bucks r whatever I think the diff drop is worth it. Monte hates em, but thes cvs are a pretty big part of the 4wd system and anything that helps keep that angle down, even by a bit is worth it to me in the long run.

    If you are still on factory cv boots and install the 3" lift I suspect you will need to reboot te cvs. The old boot dry rot and are just super still and will tear

    Yup. I checked em out yesterday theyre pretty dry.

    Doesnt wheelersoffroad sell a spacer to put on 1 side or something to fix the taco lean?

    I think ima try to do the diff drop and maybe a spacer or something and try to get it re aligned in the next 30 days again free...

    Ya, in all honestly, the taco lean is so irrelevant I wouldn't worry about it or care.

    Oh my god. It's night and day. Everything feels so smooth. Maybe its just in my head, but it feels like accelerating is smoother and turns feel tight in a good way. I forgot to take cv angle shots, but I will tomorrow.:D

    Ordered it with the kit and installed it. Although, the alternate exhaust hanger bracket was still hitting the leaf pack, so I just cut the pipe a few inches back. :p
