 HA! I think about ramming with my bumper, but I'd REALLY like a rear plate bumper for brake-checking the guy in the porsche cayenne who thinks he's doing some kind of cannonball run from Aspen to Vail, and who runs up my ass at 95mph... ahh, just to slam on the brakes!

Someone that specifically states how he defeated the crumple zones on his vehicle that was designed by people that have billions of dollars in computers and resources to figure out that these crumple zones can help save lives in an accident is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

The same computers that designed our motor mounts, rear diffs that grenade, soft syncros in the MT, alignment tabs that are made out of sheet metal, carrier bearings that fail, and frames that rust through in a couple years? Yeah, they seem trustworthy. You are all hat and no cattle.

Volvo manages to do it somehow. Is it that hard to make the A and B pillars a little stronger?

Liberals think with their emotions instead of using facts and logic and never question authority. What if the safety tests are bullshit and there is a better way, that increases production costs by say, 3%? 34,080 people died in car crashes in this country in 2012. Is it worth 3% to their families?

There is absolutely Nothing you could do to prevent all accidents and deaths on the highway.

I also safely navigate these streets with them and have not had any accidents. So.

Mr safety right here ^^^ ! Not

And we are supposed to believe this tripe! No way! :) I'm finished.

I love facts, and would love to see some backing up your claim that a roll cage and no crumple zones is better in real world driving.

I don't think anyone is disputing that roll cages have their place. The video you posted showed that. But if you notice that seat at the top wrapped around to brace the head and neck during a crash in a car built to not absorb the impact. Roll over accidents don't happen usually like that in real world crashes. Not saying it can't and doesn't happen, but its less likely.

Me personally, I'd prefer the vehicle to absorb the impact, rather than my family.

MMmhmm. You know, I work in SLC quite a bit and would like to take you out for a beverage sometime. Funny how some people are a lot different in real life than on the interwebz. I'll bet you the tab that we would get along great face to face.

The great thing about this country is that we have the freedom to choose to do whatever we want as long as we don't piss in someone's cheerios in the process. Do what you want to your truck, and I'll do what I want to mine. There's no need to get nasty about it, and I strongly believe you would not be quite so abrasive in the real world.

Haha that is funny. I just realized you live in OR. I am in the process of moving up there now and will finally be rid of this Utarded state. lol

So true you never know who is 40 grit and who is 600 grit on the interwebs

That pole test is impressive. I am sure older smaller cars would wrap that up like a taco. Not tacoma but taco bell taco.

What part of the state? It's the greatest place on earth. It's got everything...dunes and desert to rainforest and beach. Plus, no sales tax! The only problem is the Californians that move here, but Utah has the same problem.

Pffft. I'll bet I see a cop every 25 miles up there, even on the east side of the state. In Oregon it's so rare to see a state patrol vehicle that we wave, and they wave back. You have too many tax collectors and weird laws up there for me, but it is a nice place to visit.

Also: Lincoln City, Or receives an average annual rainfall of 122.28"

The rainiest city in Wa is Neilton, with an average annual rainfall of 115.62".

what about hooking a switch to an inline fuse to your airbag sensor or fuse.. then you could do it... but i will say if you do mods like this insurance will not pay if anything breaks or if you have an accident and they dont go off when supposed to.. good luck...
