Best to pull out the old multimeter and test it while operating.

Really? Camo  Sorry, I don't get the whole camo fad... Unless it's a hunting jacket, I just don't see the point.

He must be one of those metro-rednecks. Who wear mossy oak and love their (duck butter) teeshirts. Aka duck dynasty.

A bright orange case would be too much for me. I do like my orange theme though.

I'd say clean the connections at the alternator, slap some dielectric grease on them, check the ground points and clean them if necessary. If that doesn't fix it, I'm afraid you're probably looking at a new Alty, since the VR's are internal on most of the new stuff. Any sort of warranty on the replacement one you bought? Was the replacement a new, or a rebuild?

I don't understand putting camo on objects of value. Just makes them that much easier to lose when you're in the woods. Camo knife handles, camo phone cases, etc... I just don't understand it. Makes great sense from a marketing standpoint, I guess, but....
But hell, I still wear wool when I hunt, so I guess it's all relative.

You couldn't get me to carry anything white into the woods during hunting season...
Not with all the fools out and about. I've had too many people get to within normal talking distance before they've noticed me on a stand to trust anybody else in the woods to not just shoot at a flash of white.
Too much "Duhr" out there for my liking.

    Morning All!
Breaking my policy of no internet on the weekends two days in a row here.
I but I had to get on and check the forecast to see if it's going to snow on us when we're out ice fishing today. So I figured while I was on anyway...:D

Although judging by how much has been said since yesterday afternoon, I don't miss much by not being on here on the weekends...

I think I got the right forum this time, so....

Looking for an opinion, I have a silver access cab w/black aftermarket wheels. Got a chance for an ARE cap at a good price, but it's black.

Is a black cap too much on a silver truck?

The additional price for color makes this not so much of a good deal...

Also is there a used market for an Access Brand Tonneau?

    Thanks

Alex, used your info on the iPhone to upgrade my 4 to a 5c for free. Had to buy a new case though.

I also have a silver truck. I suppose if I were to get a cap that wasn't color matched, it would have to be black. I don't really need a cap though, so I'd rather save up to have it color matched. A month ago there was a blue cap for a good price. I didn't want to paint it, and figured it would look too out of place.

Tonneau covers pop up often, although it seems a lot of them are for the 5' beds.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I think it would look good with the black wheels, maybe black out your badges so you have a nice silver/black combo

Thanx guys trying to convince myself.

I think the 2 tone can look good on some. I had a dark brown truck w/a tan cap, looked good. I also had a blue truck w/a silver cap that looked good.

The Darker truck color needs to be dominant altho the black cap on the red truck looks good too.If it was a gray I'd go w/black. It goes over $1500 total to be color matched and I can't justify that.
Ol' lady is saying go matched, but she ain't paying...LOL

In regards to the Tonneau question, I have a 6 footer and what I meant is there a market to sell it?

I've overspent on bikes and fishing stuff this winter, hesitant to do it w/truck now....lol
