Question, are the Tacoma badges on our doors held on by double sided tape or are they clipped on some how?

Double sided 3M foam tape stuff. Mine are gone (and coincidentally for sale on this very forum )

Sweet. I will be taking them off this week.

 

I have a heat gun I'm going to use. I hope that will get rid of all the sticky stuff off the doors. If not I will just use lighter fluid.

 

I figure as long as the clear coat is ok there, then the paint will be fine. Maybe I'll try goof off first or something like that.

 

Just use a heat gun & fishing line to get them off and then goo gone to get the residue left over. Don't use lighter fluid. Do some searches here. It's a popular mod and there's plenty of how to threads already with all the details you could need.
