Nice Truck! I wanted to add those led DRL to my 2013 Tacoma but Toyota wanted almost $400 for the led kit and $225 to install it. That's just crazy. No wonder people don't buy the factory accessories.

Thanks. This package is tough looking. Ive seen one other white one around where I live and a tundra with the xsp package. I think it looks much better on the tacoma. $625 is crazy. They are bright though. At least as bright as the fog lights. They dim when the rest of the lights are on.

Check with The Retro Fit Source, the Morimoto X DRL. I put a set on and they are bright! I think we are going to fab up a set under KevinSC's headlights.

Im a new Taco owner also... bought the exact same truck back in December!! Wish I shared your enthusiasm. I actually hate mine... lol. Worst purchase ever.... this truck is missing so many features you take for granted in other vehicles...shame on Toyota! I got 'bedazzled" by the xspx decal and fell victim!

Sorry to hear you dont like yours. What features are you looking for that you dont have? The only thing that I would like to have that it doesnt come with is the AC outlet in the bed. But I have a DC to AC converter in case I need it for some reason.

I think what bugs me the most is :
    1. No lumbar in driver seat
    2. No compass, no outside temp gauge
    3. No MPG, no remaining fuel gauge
    4. The HD radio is designed to pick up FM/AM stations that have secondary broadcast - and there's none where I live, so it's a waste....
    5. The hood scoop - catches a glare from any angle.
    6. Getting around 290-300 miles per tank !!! Ouch
    7. Turn the temp control knob down and the AC automatically comes on.... you have to leave the temp knob one 'click' above cold..... or run AC....odd
    8. Speakers sound like the music is in a can...and most of the sound is centered below you.

I had heard that Tacomas were great little trucks. I guess my standards are too high. I'll try and upload a pic of my truck too.

My dislikes are temp gauge and no mudflaps on the truck, since I live on a gravel road the tires are picking up rocks and chipping the paint.so I added mudflaps on the back...after hand washing the truck last week I have chips from the front tires, so I have order some more for the front..I will be installing them with out drilling into the bushwacker fender.[IMG]

Another pic....hope to have front installed by the weekend, using longer bolts with spacers and 3m double sided tape.[IMG]

    2. this seems to be a problem for all 2014s. You could look into buying a 2013 and below mirror and sensor for compass and temp maybe.
3.What do you mean no remaining fuel gauge? You have a fuel gauge near the speedometer it shows Full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, and E. A solution to knowing your MPG would be to buy a Scangauge or Ultragauge.
4.It's not the trucks fault that you don't have HD radio where you live.
    5. I have a hood scoop and glare doesn't bother me, this could be because mine is covered in dust and dirt though.
6.As for the miles per tank it's a truck.

I suppose I came off as a dick with my response but it seems to me like you just bought the truck because of the badging and the sales man smooth talked you into it. If you would have test drove the truck (maybe you did I'm not sure) you would have noticed 1. No lumbar support, 2. No temp or compass gauge, 3. No MPG gauge, 4. No HD radio where you live, 8. the speakers not sounding like you had hoped for.

Hello I have that same truck and I too am a new member here. That truck is a expensive, but I love mine! Lol! Enjoy! Working on getting a light bar made by avid offroad. Should fit to the frame of the truck and still keep my Xsp-x Skid plate. Will have pics up soon when I get everything set up.
