Oh yeah, Owen learned how to start the truck today. Don't fret, all appropriate precautions were taken.

    Proud daddy moment.

Nah, I get that out of the way in the morning. I figure I've got the morning wood and time to kill anyway, so I might as well put it to good use.

But anyway, I'm a light sleeper on a normal night, and I frequently wake up if something makes a noise I'm not used to. But for some reason last night everything was waking me up. I mean, everything.

The wind blew and made the wind chimes on the front porch ring? Woke me up.
Cat jumped off the dryer? Woke me up.
Ice maker in the freezer dumped a fresh load of cubes? Woke me up.
Humidifier kicked on? Woke me up.
Dog got up for a drink of water? Woke me up.
Girlfriend talked in her sleep? Woke me up.

I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee and I'm finally starting to feel human again, but it's going to be a really long day. :pccoffee:

Anyone going to the FJNE event at Rausch Creek? I'm contemplating it, I want to go, especially since I most likely won't be able to go to the NTC Rausch event due to it being around the time our kid is supposed to be born.

Yeah I went last year. It was fun!

What I didn't like was the $70 charge for the dinner. I think next time I go I will buy a shirt separate and just skip dinner.

Do a 1:1 with Jameson and Baileys, stupid delicious.

Just crawled under the truck, got some grease in all of the driveshaft zerks. Hacked the exhaust just after the rear axle. Got Mikes aluminum battery hold down wire brushed and ready for an etching primer. Then my fingers went painful numb and I said fuckit.

It says you can opt out of the dinner, and just pay a $50 registration fee. So the dinner is basically $20.

I'll have to see the overseer's thoughts, we usually don't do anything for Easter anyways

It's a little chilly out for sure. I did the same to my exhaust. I tried the OME exhaust relocate bracket, but it still wasn't even close. Much easier to just hack it off.

We should do a mod day some time. I'm gonna be getting heavy duty stainless engine studs for my exhaust manifolds. Mine are scary rusty and I don't want to have to pull the motor to tap a bolt.

I want to get the URD spec-U headers due to my massive exhaust leak
