I've seen it in craigslist for like 20k, looks more like a bro truck, it sits at least twice as high as your truck.

    Hello All,

If you were planning on going to Hollister Hills March 15th SEE BELOW

I received an e-mail from a friend that just informed me that the 4-Wheel Drive Park at Hollister Hills (Upper Ranch) is CLOSED from March 13th - 16th for a private event and will not be open to the public. To verify this I called the Rangers Station at HH and received confirmation today (3/2/14). Ranger Station: 1 (831) 637-3874.

So at this time we either need to decide on another going to a different off-road park or select some trail(s) to explore. Or as Glen suggested move the date back a week back to Saturday March 22nd...

    Suggestions / Comments?

Yea we did ralston to alameda to edgewood. back out on canada to sand hill from whiskey hill, then junipero serra to foothill to arastradero to alpine. Then portola to mountain home and back to canada. About 44 miles in 2 hours and 32 minutes. Not bad considering the weather and climbing. Riding in that area is awesome, there are tons of different routes and variations

If you drive to Santa Cruz I'd do it for you. It's not hard if you have the tools, just have to be careful with the spring compressors.

I ended up using two sets of spring compressors when I did mine; for peace of mind haha. Those things are tough.

Much better done with a hydraulic compressor. That's how I did mine.

Just use a jack to compress the springs. There's a video on YouTube. I've done mine this was 3 times with no problems. You leave the top attached and undo the LCA, jack it up and take off the top center bolt holing the top hat then let it down slowly.

886's are too stiff to do that trick. I tried.
