I like the Howa 1500. I almost bought their 20" bull barrel 308, but i decided to wait a bit before I enter the tack driving money pit...

my main deer rifle is a mossberg 1500 that was built by Howa back in the day. it's only a .270, but it'll drop deer in their tracks at 100yds all day.

.270 is a great hunting round. It is my go-to for everything except elk. I have taken numerous deer from 200-300 yards, and the furthest being out to 350. Not that it couldnt shoot farther, I just dont.

Just got done cleaning (with full disassembly) my beretta al391 for the first time since I got it. I'd cleaned the barrel and oiled it before. Took a couple hours to get it dealt with, I've had it since I was 14, I'm 21 now, had a few thousand rounds through it. It started jamming pretty bad at the range last week so I decided it was time to clean. It was the first time I've cleaned a gun that had actually started to malfunction from being dirty. It was bad lol, all clean and ready for the next thousand rounds

Sig's 22. It's pretty well known for being picky as far as ammo goes.

I did clean the barrel out as well as the gas system a bit, but I didn't have to disassemble anything other than taking the barrel off. The entire action get a deep cleaning. The more important part was that I figured out how to get the plug out of the gun, I'm hoping I can get good enough with clays to hand throw 5 and hit them before they hit the ground. I can do 3 right now, but that was all the gun would hold lol

They're both infringing on this dude's intellectual property.

By the way, Marco Polo is way more fun when you introduce firearms.

Why are Remington 700 bolt/receiver sets more expensive than a whole 700? Pushing $500.00 from Brownells, that's almost as much as a 700 SPS tacticle! I mean if they were trued but stock with no trigger, come on. I want to build another custom but might as well start with an ADL for $379.00.

AFAIK the remmy 700's aren't that cheap in CA.
