6 inch lift plus 1-2 inch body or spacer lift

I looked this up but didn't find much. I was wondering if anyone has done this.. 6 inch (procomp,fabtech) lift plus 1-2 inch body or spacer lift on top of that?? I like the look of the 6 inch lift with 35 inch tires but I want a little more lift. Pictures would be nice! Also could I put this on my 6 inch procomp lift???

do you think it would look good? and what would you go with a body or spacer on top of the lift?

 

Their are some on here that will think it looks good. I do not. Im more about function over form with my stuff. Body lifts are traditionally a bad idea. Look around at some pics of lifted trucks on this forum. Their are some really nice looking 3" lifted trucks. You don't need to go so high to get that aggressive look your after. And you will retain the functionality of your truck.

 

dude that thread was all about mall crawlers lol!! nah man not at all. im just trying to make it absolutely impossible for midgets to get in my truck. theres so many out here!! hahaha but being serious, I heard body lifts were bad that's why I asked is it possible to put those 2 inch spacers on top of my 6 inch lift...?

 

Shouldn't be a problem. As long as you are able to get a good alignment.

Along with a host of other issues, like shocks, break lines, control arms, drive shaft angle. so on and so on.

 

You have prerunner...IMO you should go with a spindle/coilover liff over a drop bracket lift...easily get 6 in. Lift and wouldn't go any higher...you can trim stuff to fit 35s like plastic and cut the cab mount a bit...

 

dude everyone is telling me to do that but I heard its more work and everything. I go offroad. its not like I just ride around. so what are the pros and cons over spindle and procomp??
