I've never been involved with a tread like this... a thread where they try to talk you out of modding your car/truck :D

As for the space, it is nice to have. Sorry for the poor cell phone pic!

No, she smacked me between the grill guard and the front tire. I can see the "bumper" through a crack in the plastic, and the corner got bent. Grill guard got a little nick, but that was all.

Didn't hit me all that hard, I was just what stopped her skid. Had cars behind me, right on my butt, or I would've thrown it in reverse and avoided getting involved altogether.

    A few things
I put in a Pro Comp leveling lift in front (Part# 65205 -- 2 1/4" spacer that mounts on top of coil over assembly). Actually raised it almost 3". I then put in a 1" block under each leaf spring because the rear looked lower then front even though it was same height. Tires are Nitto trail grapplers 265x70 x17. No trimming needed but I did remove my mud flaps before I got the tires so not sure if they would have rubbed or not.

I'm kinda tempted, now that you mentioned it. Never looked into those before. Need to find out how much $$ that'll cost me. I'll have a little insurance money coming my way soon.

I painted the rings around my TRD wheels and got rid of the last little bit of chrome on the truck!

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.

    Sweet!

Let them settle a couple weeks then measure. Trust me.

Also, not the smartest thing I've done, but my two year old knows how to start the truck :D

Installed the new front diff with 4.10's and an ARB RD111. Found out the ADD was dead and swapped in my old one. Also removed the swaybar after nearly 60k with it on. The initial drive around town was really nice! :)

I finally finished the color matching on my Off-Road door handles. Replaced all 4 of the black ones w/white. No chrome except for the rear bumper and I'll deal with that later. Prob go with an after market off-road bumper...

Added yellow tint to the fogs (eBay)

Debadged so I could derp. They're still drying.

Shortened my front mud flaps by 4" (with snips and a box cutter for detail carving)...to the untrained eye, it creates the illusion that the truck has been raised. Maybe that's why Toyota makes them so long - to create a market for raising the truck. ;)

Painted the top bar of my bed extender with Bed Armor so the yaks won't ding it up so badly...maybe. Also still drying.

Hope to get to the under hood light and bed lights this week.

Ah, yes, Master Yota...but how was I going to clean behind the emblems?

Wasn't comfortable masking and spraying on the truck and also plan to put a coat of matte clear enamel over the derp.

In hindsight and given the time involved in de-stickying the emblems and remounting the adhesive, perhaps I should have just derped on the truck and skipped the matte clear. Live and learn, I guess.
