Thanks for the heads up on dealers, took mine to Charles Barker today in regards to the air pump and also had them look at the rear brake squeak. Good news is I am getting new rear brakes per the TSB, finally no more squeal. Still have to get them to look at driveline clunk and my front suspension is squeaking like crazy when I take turns. They would only let me have two issues looked at for todays appt. The more miles I put on this thing the more it starts to have issues like the Chevy I traded in on it...hopefully she will be good to go after this.

 

It might need a bit of maintenance once in a while but it'll last a lot longer than that Chevy. Might be ball joints or lca bushings up front

That's what I hope, this is my first Toyota truck been a Chevy guy prior to that. At least its all under warranty right now and that's the only reason I took it to the dealer. I prefer to do my own maintenance vs. using the dealer. My last Chevy was a Colorado and boy did that thing have issues, 1,000 miles out of warranty the ECM failed and left the wife and me stranded. Gm told me to take a hike and wouldn't cover it, next week she was traded in.


Any of you guys on here ever go to Carlisle all truck nationals?

Actually everyone who has a non offset fairlead has this problem. The ARB doesn't have this issue. For me it is all about fix it before it is broken.....winch line isn't exactly cheap.....

 

As long as the winch is properly lined up your GTG?

 

WHAT DAFUQ!!! Ive went through 3 silverstar bulbs in one year! Got pulled over for burnt out light last night. :banghead:

Is 9003 = H4 . . . stupid question but interwebz giving me mixed answers.

 

Ours are slightly lower but with how it's set up, there shouldn't be the possibility of it rubbing.

That PDF just blew my mind......

 

from now on wear a latex glove when you install the bulb. just to be sure, that way just in case you are accidentally touching the bulb it wont matter. that is what i have always done, plus it makes clean up easier.

 

Will do this /\. No monies for retrofit. Just browsing the best rated H4/9003. Phillips BlueVision ultra seems to be rated pretty good.

 

ive had good luck with the PIAA Extreme white and the Intense white bulbs as well. reasonably priced and do better than the sylvanias i used to run before the switch.
