Howdy, just moved to Colorado Springs from Washington (already extremely glad about the move), I was wondering if there are any decent local off-road shops? Also hoping to make some meets sometime if y'all do those here.

We are starting to do meets once a month with people from all over the state, from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins and every where in between.
I live in the springs and the main off road shop I go to is 4 wheel parts, and that's only cause I don't know of any other place here in the springs that will do the work. I know there are other places up north but I don't know of any other down here.

Oh man, there are a couple in foco area for sure. Addicted offroad or johns 4x4 center are good ones. There is bullhide too but I wouldn't go there.

If we want to go to a tundra meet we would have bought a tundra and joined tundraworld. That's blasphemy Sean :p

We have tons haha. 4WheelParts, Toytec, Addicted Offroad etc

We crossed paths on campus the other night so I flashed him with my light bar lol

What?! Was this with the new bumper? And we're you turning? I think I remember seeing that but forgot you had a new bumper so didn't think it was anyone I knew. Sorry haha

Johns 4x4 is under new ownership (which I'm glad about since I usually got attitude) and they are now focusing more on Toyotas and not just jeeps. Also renamed to Fort Collins 4x4. X2 on Bullhide, never much help there.

And don't go to Tanner 4x4 in the springs. They were always way overpriced and not very friendly.

We discovered a place yesterday in thr springs that does beautiful work too, I'll have to post the rig later. 3D Offroad

Don't forget 4x4 Used Parts and 4x4 Off Road on Willox, both family owned.
And I agree about Bullhide, never any help, more interested in sales.
Johns 4x4 definitely better under current new owners.

Anyone know a good shop for re-gearing? I stopped by 4wheel parts here in Denver and was quoted 1k for the front alone...$3500 for the front, back and arb in the rear... includes all parts but... seems high but I have no basis as the last time I had gears done it was done by a buddy in Alaska for $500 for front and rear.

also they were pushing G2 gears... I've only had experience with Yukon... are these quality?
