Awesome well then that goes on my long list of stuuf that i wanna do lol thanks for explaing it to me
Is it sturdy? Like is there some sort of frame under the roof where you mounted it? I figured the double cabs have a frame of some kind under the roof toget mounted into since some came with a roof rack did the extra cab have something like that?

    Look at build!

The factory cross bars are only rated at 100#. I have the sunroof so mine seems to have a lot more seupport over the DC I put one on but either way should be fine, I normally just throw my tube doors up there but I can get on top and im not lightweight. I wouldn't hesitate to put an rtt on mine

Home built full skids. Home built front bumper. Plasti'd badges. Energy Susp. steering rack bushings. Sway bar delete. Deck plate mod. aFe Pro-Dry. Gibson exhaust.

Another vote for KM2's sucking in the 'very cold' and ice/hard pack snow. And mine are siped.

Noticeably better when it's above 10 degrees and there's a half inch or so of slush/something to grab on to on the road. Definitely good in deep snow/off road.

But, i'll never buy a set again. They just don't perform well in Minnesota winters.

My previous set was Duratracs. Which were amazing. I never had the sidewall issues many other have. And i wheel in shale fields.

Looking forward to trying out a set of MTR's next.

If you didn't like the KM2s in the Minnesota winters, you'll hate the MTRs. The MTRs are outstanding in nearly every environment but they totally suck on ice and hardpack. Worse than the KM2s.

Truthfully i didn't think my KM2's suck that bad on ice/hardpack. Then again this is my first set of bigger tires on this truck so my argument is completely invalid. But i have no issues cruising around in 2wd, i only put it in 4wd taking off from a stop light or stop sign but other than that i rarely need the 4wd.

Yep it's possible and true. That being said, the MTRs are so good in everything else, I'll be buying them again despite the crappy performance in the winter.
