No problem. And lucky. I use to live right over there off dear valley. But im going to br heading out from tucson for this one. Maybe. I dont know yet. Might drive to phx friday night

I always stop by the local bagel shop on I-17 and Carefree Highway on the N/E corner. There's a gas station right there, and a McDonald's. That's the usual meet spot but if you guys want to meet at Scorpion Bay then that's fine. The gas station is only 15 minutes away from SB anyways.

 

feel free to push the time our a hr or 2 lol

either way though ill be there as long as my truck doesnt break bad from now till then.

 

This coming weekend will dictate the condition of our trucks

i just i hope i drive the truck back on the trailer. if i do, then it was a good weekend. and if i dont, i hope its even better... but probably wont be. lol

Oops I missed that. But yeah, that intersection is a great meet spot for anyone heading up to CK, Lake Pleasant, Flagstaff, etc. It's one of the last things before you leave Phoenix.

 

Yeah it really is a good spot to meet at.

Where:
Meet at N/E corner of I-17 and Carefree Hwy (TBD either bagel shop, gas station, or McD's)

Do you want to depart at 8am or meet at 8am for breakfast/gas-up and then depart by 9am?

And I'm not even running the show.. just wanted to pinpoint the details. I love the CK trail and look forward to starting camping season early this year.

Who else might want to camp out up top? I know some of you are going through to Sedona and elsewhere. I'm making a night of it if I go.
