That would be awesome vin! I should be finishing my rear bumper this weekend, once i get it painted and my spare stealth 6 mounted on the swingout i will borrow the girlfriends nice camera and get some good pics. I am following SCS on IG, i dont have any worthy pictures on there now though.

That's a sweet shop, too.. Working on expanding my fab work out here - hoping to work my way into a bigger shop.

I know you've gotta have a plan for that big piece of square tube extending up your tailgate..

 

Thanks man! Looking foward to seeing some of your work. Cam (flyboy.co2) is really hooking me up, he has access to two awesome shops. I actually don't have a plan yet for the left side of the swingout, just ideas. Maybe jerry cans, i might upgrade my 48" hi-lift to a 60" so that may be getting mounted on there somehow. Cam had a idea for a fold down table which might be cool to do in the future.

I have 285s, alot of people go with the 265s to avoid rubbing. I did rub the very bottom corners of the fender flares but a little trimming took care of that. I also had to trim the body mount. I pulled a leaf out of my leaf packs so my truck would sit more level. Originally it sat 1/2" higher in the rear, with that leaf in it would have sat closer to 1 1/2"- 2" higher.

 

Yea I am! I've not gone out this winter at all because I have neither winch nor tow straps… Having at least one of those is a prerequisite for winter wheeling. I also need to take care of the trimming on my truck.

 

I have 285s and haven't trimmed (I'll get to it at some point). The rubbing isn't the worst but it's terrible. I have 265s on for the winter right now and no rubbing at all. But I like the 285s for wheeling way better.

 

It can be quite a bit of trimming depending on your setup especially if you wheel your truck. What will you be running for suspension and wheels? Its always hard to determine how bad you will rub beforehand, the best way is to just go for it, see where you rub and do whatever trimming you need to. I think i is worth it to fit 285s

Great thread! Truck looks awesome. Would love to know what you think you have in total weight in front bumper/ rear h/c bumper and bed rails.

I am trying to get an idea of how much weight I am going to add before installing lift/suspension/aal's so I don't have to go back and modify.
