Well unfortunately his build won't be months of waiting for you guys to see where it goes, I have almost everything I need for now but there will definitely be changes in the future and I'll add them to it. For now I'll get it caught up to present day and everyone can give input and ask questions and bash on anything they want because mama didn't raise no crybaby. I'm building this truck to my taste with my budget and using it for my enjoyment the rest of yous guys just gotta watch me do it and build your own trucks! ;)
This is what she looked at the day I bought her October 25, 2013

I planned to keep it stock height and just buy some wheels and tires and call it a day, then a month later I got rain visors(not really a "mod" but it's a start"
    u2uju4a9_0fe7d23a886f0f04e63017c31de974d41b1d2ac5.jpg
Then for a couple months I lurked on here just gawking at trucks and decided I wanted to lift and add tires so I got a 3" from toytec and 285/75 Kuhmo MTs in February

I absolutely loved it, but felt like it needed just a little more "stance" so I ordered a 1" BL
    5u3a8ara_424f9254ac68b4a040c4010743aba0e463b14458.jpg
Now it sits nice and looks/handles like it should. But then I was thinking well I've got a lifted 4x4 truck and I definitely plan on using it otherwise I'm a hypocrite, but it's brand new so I don't want to destroy it on trails, guess I'll order some bumpers and sliders. So I shopped and I picked it all out and ordered them, I'll post pics of them when they get here, but I ordered a few extras also and they're already here...

So now we're all up to date on where I am and hopefully I'll have some updates of it all coming together later this week.

Your truck is looking good! What lift did you go with from Toytec? I have a dclb as well and i am looking for a nice 3" lift that will ride smooth. Any issues with yours?

I'm guessing you spent too much time looking at my old truck in the parking lot...

I used to have the dark blue access cab. Then I went to a lifted silver with Homer grill and sliders. I've been gone since July though.

Looks so good! I've been contemplating this exact lift for some time. Did you install yourself or did you pay someone? How much for the install if it was professionally done?

I've not seen a dark blue AC just DC. And the only silver one on base is a perrunner

I left in July. I was an electrician there once upon a time. I actually showed most of those guys you see this site and how to do most of the stuff on the trucks.

I did everything myself except for the alignment and balancing the wheels, it's pretty straight forward and as long as you have all of the tools you should get it done in a day.

Awesome, there aren't many that I know of around here but I've been trying to find guys to go wheel out east/up north

I've got a little hidey spot I used to go to. It isn't much, but it can at least get the itch to go away. I'll map it for ya... I'll post it up when I can get it.

Looks nice. How well do the Kumho's handle the mud and the road for a daily driver?

    Later.

They are great in what little mud they've seen, not much as far as mud/trails where I am but I have gotten them full of mud and they self clean really well! And on road you can't really tell they're mt until you hit bumps or when pulling up to a curb and bumping into it. I love them so far. I think next time I'm gonna get AT though simply because mpg

It's an old mobile home site. It's right on the county line, so nobody ever came to look. I don't think the owners even come by the property. Theres NOTHING out that way. It has "streets" in it still.

Well right now that's all it is, a pile in the corner of my room. I wish my bumpers would get here!
